Burns, Bruises, and Tax Cuts: The Relationship Between Grueling Jobs and Conservative Views on Taxation

Between 2016 and 2020, I traveled through the most conservative parts of the country and took short-term jobs along the way. For my political science honors thesis at Brown University, I studied a link between the oftentimes grueling nature of the jobs in these communities and the staunch anti-tax views held by locals.
